GameDay is investing heavily in new tools to assist users with various learning & development needs and as part of a more streamlined customer onboarding program.
As part of this initiative, we are excited to announce the launch of a suite of new self-help learning resources:
In-Platform Resource Centre
GameDay users will now have access to a complete suite of onboarding and training guides covering each major platform feature, available within its own menu in the bottom-right corner of the platform.
These onboarding guides allow the user to take a guided tour around each feature within the platform, exploring the processes, benefits and use cases of each feature to help kickstart their adoption of the platform.
Blended Learning Approach
Our Resource Centre Onboarding Guides are packed with a blend of written and video-based learning content, using interactive progression within the platform to guide users through each step of the process.
Trackable Progress
Each individual user within the platform has a unique view of their own progress of each onboarding guide to allow them to keep track of which features they have learned, and how many steps in the process remain for each guide. Users exiting a partially completed guide will have their progress remembered and saved in the Resource Centre to indicate their real-time progress.
More Video Content
As part of our commitment to enhancing the learning experience, we are rolling out much more video-based training content to complement our Resource Centre, written articles, live training services. To accompany the Resource Centre, we have released a new series of feature training videos to introduce users to each major platform feature, with more similar content on the way.
This is currently available on our YouTube channel, which you can find here.
Rory Stewart, Learning & Development Manager at GameDay says “Having heard the feedback from countless GameDay and Passport customers desperate for intuitive, user-friendly learning resources, we’re extremely excited to be rolling out our first iteration of GameDay’s Resource Centre to kick off our commitment to creating a best-in-class support pathway. We know that our products can provide immense value regardless of the size or nature of the user, and this project represents a significant step towards arming those users with the tools to realise and maximise that value.”
Some future enhancements that will be part of a future release will include:
- More targeted and dynamic learning materials tailored to organisation permissions
- Rolling ‘Recent Releases’ list to cover any recent updates you may have missed.
We’re very excited to launch these updates on GameDay and we’re sure you’ll love them just as much as we have enjoyed developing them!
We’re also working on a similar Resource Centre and suite of training videos for Passport and we’re aiming to have this available in the coming weeks.
